Auto-DJ and media handling

Auto-DJ and media handling

Our premium packages come with a feature called “Auto-DJ”
Auto-dj works like this, you upload your mp3’s to our servers, create a playlist and activate server side source, and the server will stream the files to your listeners.
The most frequent use for auto-dj is when you don’t have time or are not in the mood to broadcast yourself
So lets get started right away
To enable auto-dj login to your CentovaCast and go to “Configure Server”
On the “AutoDJ” tab change the “AutoDJ status: “ to “Enabled” and press Update
Now its time to upload your files, to do so you need to use a FTP client, we recommend FileZilla
When you have installed Filezilla you need to connect to our server

• Host-You can use premium.listen2myradio.com here or if that doesent work just use your server ip
• Username-Your CentovaCast username
• Password-Your Administrator password (which can be changed in CentovaCast under Configure Server/Stream

Then just click “Quickconnect” and if you did everything right you will connect to our server where you should see 3 folders
• Media
• Ondemand
• Sounds

For Auto-DJ you need to add your files to the “media” folder
• NOTE: With each package you get a limited amount of disk space, if you exceed your allocated space your account may be temporarily suspended. You can check how much space you have in your Centovacast control panel
After you uploaded your files,go to CentovaCast and

Click on “Manage playlists” and on the right side of the page and click on “Create playlists”
There is not much to explain in this part, since everything is either self-explanatory or well documented I will skip it.
After you created your desired playslists
Go to “Media Library” and click on “Update media library” and then return to Media Library
Now you should have a window which shows all the songs that you uploaded to the “media” folder before
To add songs to your playlists just select then drag and drop them to the playlist you want to include these songs
Then go to that playlist and click “Save”
When you have added all the songs you want to include in the playlists you can return to your control panel and start your server

If you did everything right your Server-Side source should be activated and broadcasting your playlists
